Website Creation & Copywriting: Help for Haiti

The organization came to FSG looking to update their website so that they could appeal to a wider range of donors and share their work more succinctly and attractively. Additionally, they wanted website management and updating to be easy and achievable for their staff. FSG worked with H4H to capture their organizational story and showcase it through beautiful photography, copy as well as an organized Squarespace based website that puts their work and fundraising at the forefront. H4H has reported that their donations have increased by 10% since launch of the site.

Website Creation, strategy & copywriting: fire networks

The Fire Networks are 5 interconnected but separate organizations managed by the Nature Conservancy’s Fire Program. They came to FSG with the challenge of creating one unifying look, feel and approach that would still allow each organization to showcase their work. First we designed a logo and brand and then we crafted a Wordpress based website employing Elementor, Events Calendar and more and a template that each organization then used for content development. This site is easy to navigate, provides a tremendous value to the client and allows for even greater collaboration.

Website Creation & Copywriting: BRG Legal

BRG Legal is a newly formed legal practice that wanted to approach their new endeavor with a fresh eye and unique attitude when it came to marketing and web presence. FSG loves that kind of assignment. Using Squarespace FSG created a simple yet beautiful website that shares the BRG story while allowing for ease of client management and updating. Partnering with local photographer, Raya on Assignment, allowed us to really bring the BRG brand story, people and attitude to life. Accessibility was a primary focus as was focusing on bringing forth a warmth and approachability throughout design and copy. The result a website that thoroughly embraces BRG’s approach to law while informing and marketing.

Website redevelopment: ASERL

The Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) came to FSG with a core issue: their current site hadn’t been updated in over 7 years and all of their good work was not being showcased as it should. Using Wordpress and the Elementor theme we redesigned their site to allow for full search ability of their valuable webinars, highlighted their membership through an interactive map and created and curated a jobs board for their 36 members across the southeastern US. The updated site also included a Members Only section and a robust archive of past webinars. This site was designed and developed to be conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA accessibility standards.

BRanding, logo & strategy: Footprints food pantry

Footprints Food Pantry sought to update their graphic identity to better match their services and approach to food insecurity. In addition they wanted to have a more cohesive and connected brand story that aligned to the organization’s core competencies and mission. FSG designed a full logo set as well as branding tenants and communications strategy and guidelines that the organization can use across all media platforms. In addition, FSG updated their site (previously built by FSG) to include a responsive online donation form connected to their donor management system, Little Green Light to ensure seamless donor tracking and communications.

Editorial Leadership, website management & comms strategist: fire adapted communities learning network

Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network (FAC Net) is an organization focused on helping people adapt to and live better with wildfire by sharing resources, tools and trainings as well as a thriving collaborative community of practitioners. FAC Net worked with FSG for editorial leadership and communications strategy for all outgoing digital communications for the organization including e-newsletters, blogs, social media marketing and crisis comms. FSG also completed a full website redevelopment for the organization that made their resources and tools far more accessible for their community. The result was a cohesive, strategic communications effort that allowed the client to focus on their in-the-field work.

Website Creation & Advocacy strategy: Mainspring

The Mainspring Collective is a collaborative social services model being built in Kittery, Maine. The organization was in need of a website to direct launch in concert with their capital campaign that could share information on the effort, campaign materials and updates and host the donation platform. FSG created a simple but elegant Squarespace-based website that answered all the FAQs about the effort and focused on bringing advocates up to date on efforts and supported the fundraising efforts. FSG also helped with copywriting and provides ongoing support for staff as the initial launch has now expanded with the build underway.

Website creation: fireadapted.org

The Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network sought to create a broad and wide scoping resource library for wildfire practitioners across the US and around the world. They wanted to employ their fire adaptation graphics as a way to organize the resources by what, who and when in terms of fire adaptation practices. In addition the site had to be fully bilingual to allow for Spanish speakers to utilize the site. Using Wordpress and customization of the Elementor theme we crafted a sophisticated and organized database to house the wide array of resources while making the database highly faceted and filterable. Using a bilingual plugin we facilitated a full translation of the entire site’s content as well employed a full accessibility suite.
